Looking for a great way to hide those unsightly cords and cables?
There are many ways to hide messy unsightly power cords and cables. Recently I’ve come accross these very economical Electriduct Plastic Cord Covers . They are aesthetically pleasing and very easy to use for most indoor applications. As one of their most popular selling cord covers, this product comes in 5 different colors, 3 sizes – SM, MED, LG and 5 lengths – 5ft, 10ft, 15ft, 25ft and 50ft in most all sizes.
Electriduct Plastic Cord Covers have a bottom slit making installation very simple. They are also sold with double sided tape FREE with every order. For those of you running the cord cover over carpet, Electriduct also offers ‘Hook and Loop’ tape, better known as Velcro, too.
Hook and Loop is fantastic for most home and office carpeting. Please note- shag carpet has proven not to be very successful with the hook and loop tape. Once adhered or stuck to the carpet this tape is pretty resistant to skidding and should stay in one place. This tape can be cut down to size most any application. It’s light weight , extremely durable and available in many sizes and colors.
Another great product used to hide those unsightly cables and cords is the Electriduct Cable Shield Cord Cover. The cable shield is mainly used indoors on floors and walls and comes as a two piece device. The top slides on and off the base so the cords or cables you are hiding can be easily inserted. This product also comes in 5 sizes and 4 colors including their most popular wood grain. The plastic cable shield is unique and very deceptive as it gives off a true appearance of wood without the true cost of wood! You will find double sided tape already adhered to the base unit for a secure non-slip grip on most hard surfaces. This can also be used on carpet with the same hook and loop tape mentioned above too. Averaging 20$ in cost, this too fits the economical budget-er ‘s home and office applications with ease.
For those extremely frugal projects, cable ties are always a very affordable and practical way to tame those cable and cord nightmares. They come in a variety of different colors, sizes and materials for just about any application. The materials range from flexible hook and loop (Velcro) to more sturdy nylon strap. Regardless of the material, cable ties are easy to use and won’t cost you much to organize your cable clutter.
